Forgiveness is Tossed about like a Cheap Pizza

But we must return for a moment, dear ones to those who are sleeping in darkness. Everyone must have love and patience for them. For one must not feel superior. This adds layer after layer of burden to them. Instead, one must surround them with adoration and gratitude for they represent a very potent reminder of what one oneself once was.
One must be grateful for everyone in life. And this is very difficult. You know this because there are some here today who have been severely treated by others in life. We acknowledge and indeed we feel the experiences that are on the mind. And yet we say it is important to forgive. How can this be true?
We do not speak of forgiveness the way the human race often does. Forgiveness is tossed about like a cheap pizza. They say, “You need to forgive. Call the Domino! Order it up! Guaranteed thirty minutes.” This is ridiculous! Impossible. It makes a sham of forgiveness power.
Forgiveness is a life-long torture. We cannot hide this truth. It doesn’t feel good while it’s happening because it’s not an endpoint. It’s not a vacation destination. Everyone has at least five or six people in life they are guaranteed that they must forgive. Beginning with mother and father.
