The Only Obstacle for Achievement of God-Realization

That’s kind of the other chapter.
Yes.
I feel like I’m there [at catechism class], gathering information. I’m gathering information and worshiping.
Yes.
Internally, at this point, it feels to me. And I’m contemplating starting some type of gay church. I’m curious about the role of power of the rituals that priests go through and can one grasp and channel that power without any of that…
Initiation?
Yeah, regimented. I’m just curious about the sacraments and things like that.
Have you ever walked across water? What power was that that caused that to happen? It was the power of faith, not alone. It was the power of not thinking. Power of merely going to God.
God said, “Come.” And he went without thinking. It was when he thought that the problems began, and he had to be saved. The mind is always the obstacle and the only obstacle for achievement of God-realization in any path, any tradition.
Sacraments should be conducted as a call from God to come, and an actual response. Any thought that goes into them can sabotage, in a very big way, their ability to be sacramental.
The priestly initiation is itself a sacrament, and thus, can be conducted poorly or well. With results forever leaving the person in a noble and holy state, incapable of not creating ritual everywhere they go. Or, in a state where they cannot make a holy space, no matter how hard they try. The initiation into priestliness is a critical moment. It must be conducted as a sacrament; in the same way the sacraments should be conducted. Going immediately without thought to the call of God.
Therefore, child, since you have done that, you have been initiated by the Christ itself into something you are still discovering. Something that is made up of a sacrament of the heart and which you are qualified to perform. For your church and your congregation have not yet been created, and you must first experience the power of the Christ.
