Oh yes, dear ones, how wonderful it is indeed to speak with you upon this glorious day! Oh, those ones who were jimmying at your door only wish to join you for this weekend. [Random people stopped and knocked at the door, as we were beginning this weekend workshop with Eon].
Oh, each one of you here today has been looking forward to this a long time. Not only since you’ve known about it or made a decision to come and be here, but long before. And not because this particular weekend is very special. But rather, you have known about this a long time because it is like many other very helpful things.
There are a class of events, a category of actions in which you can be engaged in your life, which are all very similar in that they are for your best good, for your divine welfare, for your own spiritual growth. Many things fall into that category. Sometimes, the same action will fall in once and not fall in another time, depending upon your decisions. For example, if you go to a doctor because you have a serious illness, you may go once and that going to the doctor may fall easily into the category that we have mentioned of divine actions that’s for your own good. But you may go again and that time it wasn’t really necessary for your good and so it wouldn't fall into that class of actions.
This activity this weekend, this weekend itself, does fall into that category of actions for you. It’s a very good one and before you came into this life you had a draw toward that category of action. You felt the draw and the desire to engage in various actions in this life that would renew you, regenerate you, revive you and bring you back to your homeland. And that is the purpose of this weekend— to bring you back to your homeland. The space where you are most at home.
That is a place still within you. But, like a child that has wandered away from home and cannot find its way back, it is often hard for the human being to find their way back into that place of peace inside themselves. So, things like this that fall into this category of activities that are for your own good; they all serve to guide you back home. They are like the police officer who finds the child and takes them to the ice cream shop and then takes them home to their mother. That is what you do for yourself. You actually serve as your own police officer. You monitor yourself more or less and decide when you need rejuvenation and when you need to be brought back home.
Now, in the course of a life very few people, while they are still in the body, completely end up permanently back in their home. Many people in the body strive and achieve it sometimes. These achievings are valuable even if they are short-lasting. So, if you feel you are in a sense of peace, a place of grace, and then you feel you’ve lost that the next day you should not think you failed. And you should not think the grace you had was not real.
Any time you touch the feeling of peace and well-being within yourself that is divine in nature you have a lasting treasure. Whether it lasts in the material world of time is really not as important as the fact that since you found it and since you were there you’ve proven to yourself that you can do that. That is much more important.
