The Mind Doesn’t Recognize Divinity

Yeah, I’ve gotten that from you before and I totally believe it. Sometimes when I feel fear or just some sadness, I don’t know whether or not I should try to — it’s at that low level, get out of it and go to feel good, or should I just let myself go into terror and grief? Should I accentuate it? If I feel a little of it, why not go all the way into it and bleed it out somehow? Or do I just step back out of it?
Well, actually, terror, grief, rage, are not simply more of fear, sadness, anger. They are instead something that is already fully present within you.
In a pure form?
Yes. Yes, exactly. That is a very good representation. The rest of it is the human mind’s creation.
The mind has created something in this world to mimic the divine in every way. Because the mind cannot in and of itself comprehend God, therefore it declares there is no God, and it must be a God for you. And it must make something in this earthly world to replace everything that God has already given you.
The mind doesn’t recognize divinity. It can’t. It doesn’t speak that language. So, the mind manufactures love, manufactures emotions, manufactures even thoughts, none of which are necessary and all of which are inferior, to the divine love, the divine emotion, and the divine mind.
The divine love is omnipresent, all-pervading, never-ending, all-encompassing, and does not withhold itself from anyone or anything at any time. Human love obviously does. So human love is a manufactured, invented, tooled, assembly line love that the mind makes to give you love in this world, when it’s not necessary. But the mind thinks it is because it cannot feel the divine love.
In this way also, so it has made these feelings the substitute for what is already here. The mind is grossly mistaken in so many ways. Even the mind itself is a creation of itself. Because you have something here in this world, within you, within this divinity that is here, called the divine mind.
God’s mind is present in this world. And God’s mind does not have any reluctance to express itself in this world. But it cannot fight through the cacophony of the human mind. The divine mind does not shout. Does not even speak. Whereas the human mind knows the languages in and out. It’s analyzed everything and really killed it all.
So you see, your situation, you don’t need to feel more of anything. So, if you feel a little fear, don’t think, “Well, I’ll follow it to the big channel. I’ll go upstream and find its source.” Instead, just release all the holding back you can within you. And if you find that you still feel fine, that’s a gift from God. That’s a gift.
There’s no reason why you should be in a puddle of helplessness now. It’s not a required part of your experience, dear child. Not at all.
